HP Elite & Beyond is excited to announce a cultural and soccer experience in Italy for week of Spring Break from April 13 - 23, 2019. The soccer tour of Italy will include visiting Rome, Florence, and the Almafi Coast. The select team will potentially have the opportunity to watch AS ROMA play in the Stadio Olimpico, compete in friendly matches with local Italian clubs, and finish the tour by competing in the Roma International Cup.

Tryouts

2008/2009 BOYS
- ALL BOYS born on January 1, 2008 and later are eligible for tryouts
- Players must have previously trained with HP Elite & Beyond (Exception made for Goalkeepers)
- 10 players will be selected for this tour
- Tryouts will be held on:
- Sunday, September 16, 2018 from 700-830pm at the Evergreen Sportsplex.
- Sunday, September 23, 2018 from 700-830pm at the Evergreen Sportsplex.

ITINERARY

Day 1 (April 13) - Depart Washington DC (IAD) to Rome (FCO), non-stop flight via United

Day 2 (April 14) - Arrive in Rome / AS Roma match at Stadio Olimpico

Day 3 (April 15) - Morning training session / Free day in Rome / Evening friendly / Night tour of Rome

Day 4 (April 16) - Train to Naples / Tour of the Almafi Coast

Day 5 (April 17) - Morning Friendly  / Free day in Rome

Day 6 (April 18) - Train to Florence / Tour of Florence

Day 7 (April 19) - Morning Friendly / Free Day in Rome

Day 8 (April 20) - ROMA International Cup 

Day 9 (April 21) - Easter Sunday, NO GAMES

Day 10 (April 22) - ROMA International Cup 

Day 11 (April 23) - Depart Rome (FCO) to Washington DC (IAD), non-stop flight via United

Costs

- Players and family members will start from $1995/person + flight
- The family member package will include:

  • All Hotels w/Breakfast
  • 10 nights in Rome
  • Day trip to Florence
  • Day trip to the Almafi Coast
  • Private transportation to/from ALL team related events
  • Full time tour manager throughout the trip

FAQ

Q - Does a parent have to accompany their child on the trip?
A - Yes, players must have at least one accompanying parent/guardian for the entire trip.

Q - Does my son have to attend tryouts?
A - Yes.

Q - My son is a Goalkeeper, but they have never trained with HP Elite & Beyond, can they still tryout?
A - Yes, ALL Goalkeepers can tryout even if they have not trained with HP Elite & Beyond. We do not offer Goalkeeper training.

Q - My son currently plays on a US Development Academy team, is he eligible for the trip?
A - NO, the US Development Academy does not allow for outside competition during the season.

Q - My son will be trying out for US Development Academy team for 2019-2020 season, is he/she eligible for the trip?
A - Yes, the US Development Academy season runs from August 1 - Mid-June.

Q - Will training sessions for the trip conflict with my son's current team's schedule?
A - HP Elite & Beyond will be holding training sessions leading up to the trip, however a player's HOME club/team should take priority. Training with HP Elite & Beyond should be supplemental to what they do with their HOME club/team.  HP Elite & Beyond is not affiliated with any club nor has any intention to recruit players for any reason. Our mission is to help each player reach his/her highest potential by developing their individual skills through progressive and intensive technical training methods.
