The SPEED/AGILITY/STRENGTH programs are essential for improving performance, preventing injuries, and overall health and well-being.

HP SPEED

The HP Speed training program focuses on teaching and developing the foundations of Simple Speed, Agility, Balance, and Proactive actions to the ball.

Simple Speed - Establish the fundamental mechanics of sprinting, including developing a fast first step with an explosive burst and developing power in acceleration to achieve top linear speed.

Agility and Balance - Develop agility and balance to achieve quick, swift movements with and without the ball.

Proactive Actions - Instill proactive thinking to develop fast, instinctive movements to beat opponents and be first to the ball.

HP SPEED 2

HP Speed 2 is the next evolution within the HP Speed program and requires a prerequisite of training in HP Speed.

HP Speed 2 continues to build on the foundations of Simple Speed, Agility, Balance, and Proactive actions to the ball with ADVANCED TRAINING ACTIVITIES for the elite athlete. We want athletes to develop a fast first step with an explosive burst and further establish agility and balance to achieve quick, swift movements with and without the ball.

HP STRENGTH & POWER

HP Strength and Power build the foundations of endurance, agility, speed, and ultimately player performance.

This training program utilizes light barbells, bungees, sleds, dumbbells, kettlebells, and simple bodyweight exercises designed to improve performance specific to the soccer player. A stronger athlete will have more powerful movements, including ball striking, quicker changes of direction, and explosive speed.

The HP Strength & Power program is specifically designed for the elite-level soccer player committed to improvement in the off-season.

SPECTATOR EXPECTATIONS

  • Once training has started, please DO NOT walk onto the field, it is extremely disruptive to the training environment.

  • Please refrain from sideline coaching or giving any form of direction (ie: Kick, Pass, Shoot, etc.). This is the players’ training environment, let them make mistakes and learn from them.

  • Be a positive role model and support system for your young athlete.

  • Relax and enjoy watching your young athlete play the beautiful game of soccer.
